Open Initiative · Everyone Welcome

You Bring the Observation.
We Build the Strategy.

No credentials required. No bad observations. No wrong answers. Whether you're a seasoned product designer, a startup founder, a student, or just someone who noticed something felt off on an app — your perspective matters here.

Better platform design makes the internet safer for everyone. The best insights don't come from policy documents — they come from people who actually use these products every day. That's you. Agree, disagree, question, challenge. All of it is welcome here.

Who This Is For

Everyone Who Cares

There's no minimum requirement to be here. If you care about making digital experiences better, you belong.

Designers & Product People

You build the flows that millions of people navigate. You've felt the tension between moving fast and getting it right. Bring that. The friction points you've noticed are exactly what this initiative is built around.

Founders & Builders

You're building something. You want to get the safety and trust experience right from the start — not fix it later when it's expensive and embarrassing. Let's think through it together.

Trust & Safety Practitioners

You work in this space. You know what the gaps look like from the inside. Disagree with something in the case studies? Push back. Challenge the analysis. That's exactly how it gets better.

Students & Researchers

You're exploring Trust & Safety, UX, platform governance, or AI safety. You have questions and fresh eyes. Both are valuable. Ask the questions that practitioners have stopped asking.

Everyday Users

You used an app today. Something felt off. A flow was confusing. A feature felt unsafe. You couldn't name it, but you felt it. That's the most honest observation there is. Share it.

The Skeptics

You disagree with something here. You think the analysis missed something. You have a different perspective. Perfect. Bring it. The best thinking comes from challenge, not consensus.

How It Works

Simple. Open. Honest.

No bureaucracy. No gatekeeping. Just a shared commitment to making platforms better.

01
Share what you've noticed
Use the form below. Describe a platform experience that felt off, a design gap you've identified, a question you've been sitting with, or something you think is being overlooked. There's no wrong format.
02
I read everything
Every submission comes directly to me. No filters, no team, no automated responses. If something resonates — if it points to a real design gap — I'll reach back out personally.
03
We build the strategy together
The best observations turn into case studies — with full analysis, root cause, and remediation strategy. Contributors are credited. The work gets published. The gap gets named and documented.
04
Agree, disagree, question, repeat
This isn't a one-way broadcast. Push back on the analysis. Offer a different framing. Ask the uncomfortable question. That's how the thinking gets sharper for everyone.

What Have You Noticed?

No expertise required. No minimum word count. Just tell me what you observed, what you're curious about, or what you think is being missed.

Something went wrong. Please email me directly at hash75210@gmail.com
Could be one sentence. Could be three paragraphs. Both are fine.
If your observation shapes a case study, I'll credit you however you prefer.

Thank you for sharing.

I'll read this personally and reach out if your observation points to something worth building a strategy around. That might be a quick question, a conversation, or the start of the next case study.

What This Initiative Believes

Safety and great design are not opposites. The best platform experiences are safe by default — not because of rules, but because someone cared enough to design it that way.
The gap between policy and experience is a design problem. And design problems have design solutions. That's the work.
No observation is too small. The friction point you noticed on your phone this morning might be the thing a million other users feel but can't name. Name it.
Disagreement makes the work better. If you think something here is wrong, say so. Challenge it. The analysis improves every time someone pushes back.
We all have something to teach each other. The student asking a naive question. The founder who built something and learned the hard way. The user who just felt something was off. All of it is signal.
This is worth working on. Good design protects people. That's enough of a reason.
